The rest of us just roll our eyes while they frantically draw hexagons on every available surface.

The eternal battle between humans and spreadsheets rages on! You type "12.5" because you're a normal person with functioning neurons. Meanwhile, Excel—that digital demon—transforms your innocent decimal into a DATE FORMAT! "1/12/1900 12:00:00 PM" it proclaims, like some deranged time traveler! 🧪 It's the computational equivalent of asking for a screwdriver and getting handed a banana. The struggle is REAL for scientists everywhere—one moment you're entering simple data, the next you're accidentally documenting events from the Victorian era! And don't even get me started on what happens when you type gene names...

Then you're asked to prove that answer, and the smile gets a bit nervous. By the third level, you're facing mathematical purgatory with a demonic emoji ready to devour your GPA. The dark side of potential energy! When your physics teacher says you have "great potential," they're talking about your academic abilities—but in physics, potential energy is literally stored energy waiting to be converted to kinetic energy. Standing on a rooftop means you've got maximum gravitational potential energy (mgh, where h is at its highest). One small step and... well, that potential becomes kinetic real quick! This is basically a physics student taking their teacher's encouragement way too literally. Converting potential to kinetic: technically following instructions, catastrophically missing the point.

Physics professors have two modes: either oversimplify everything ("assume a spherical cow") or bombard you with relativistic effects. This meme beautifully combines both academic traditions by showing what happens when our idealized bovine approaches 87% of light speed.
