Yay Or Nay?

The immune system: simultaneously the most sophisticated defense mechanism in the body and also that colleague who brings a flamethrower to kill a spider. Autoimmune disorders are basically your body's security system deciding your own cells look suspiciously like invaders. "Is that pollen? DEPLOY THE HISTAMINE NUKES!" Meanwhile, actual pathogens are like, "Did you just... weaponize a metronome against yourself?"

The evolution of genetics research portraits, from Mendel to modern influencers. Started with a monk discovering inheritance, now we've got Instagram models explaining DNA. Meanwhile, the average geneticist (bottom left) is just trying to explain Punnett squares to freshmen who think dominant traits "win fights" against recessive ones. Science hasn't changed—we're still crossing peas and hoping for funding—but our headshots sure have. Next generation will probably be an AI-generated face with perfect alleles.

The professor's shirt says "There are two types of people in this world: 1) Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data" and... that's it! No second point! The genius here is that you're supposed to extrapolate the second type: people who can't extrapolate from incomplete data. The students asking if his shirt is missing a second part are ironically proving they belong to the second category! It's basically a walking math joke that sorts people into one of two groups based on their reaction. Brilliant statistical humor in fabric form!

Behold! The epic chemical crossroads for our unsaturated fatty acid protagonist! Choose your destiny: the sunny path of hydrogenation (turning those bendy double bonds into straight-laced saturated fats) or the dark, stormy road of bromination (where bromine atoms attach to those same double bonds like tiny chemical vampires). It's basically a fatty acid RPG where vegetable oil must decide its chemical fate. Go left and become margarine! Go right and become... well, a brominated compound that probably shouldn't be in your sandwich. The chemistry life choices are HARD, people!

Graphene thinks it's hot stuff with its single-atom-thick carbon sheet and ridiculous flexibility. Meanwhile, Tom and Jerry are over here casually defying the laws of physics by squeezing through keyholes, flattening like pancakes, and surviving hammer blows that would pulverize diamonds. Scientists spend billions developing super-materials while cartoon characters have been ignoring material science since 1940. The real breakthrough would be figuring out what Tom and Jerry are actually made of. Probably some quantum-cartoon composite that CERN is still trying to discover.

The chemistry nerd's brain evolution! From the basic "ETHANE" (yawn) to the slightly fancier molecular formula "C₂H₆" (getting warmer), to drawing out the full structural formula (now we're cooking with gas... literally). But the REAL galaxy brain move? Just drawing that single line between two carbon atoms and calling it a day! Maximum efficiency, minimum effort - that's peak chemical enlightenment right there! The structural shorthand that makes chemistry professors shed a tear of joy and students wonder why they spent 20 minutes drawing all those hydrogens.
