Jupiter is basically Earth's cosmic bodyguard, and this meme perfectly captures what would happen without our gas giant protector. Thanks to its absolutely massive gravitational pull (about 318 times Earth's mass), Jupiter acts like a celestial vacuum cleaner, attracting and deflecting asteroids and comets that would otherwise turn Earth into a cosmic shooting gallery.
