The engineer is probably thinking about which luxury car to buy while the physicist is mentally calculating the trajectory of the golf ball using partial differential equations... for fun.

The truth finally revealed! Engineers have been hiding this secret formula for generations: "The F in Engineering is for Fun ." Which is absolutely genius because there IS no F in "Engineering" - just like there's often no fun in those all-nighters calculating stress tensors or debugging code that worked perfectly yesterday. Pure engineering humor that hits harder than a miscalculated load-bearing beam!

The dimensional analysis disaster strikes again! This teacher's protest sign attempts to calculate their deserved salary using babysitter rates, but there's a tiny mathematical meltdown happening. They start with $10/kid × 6.5 hrs/day × 28 kids/class, but then mysteriously transform to $1820 × 180 school days (skipping several steps and mangling the units). What they meant was "good luck battling an algorithm with the stubbornness of a tenured professor." The figure inevitably floats to page 17, while your caption sits abandoned on page 3. The existential crisis of every chemistry student condensed into four panels.
