Middle Earth Is Flat (And So Is The Plot)

Middle Earth Is Flat (And So Is The Plot)
The eternal plot hole of Lord of the Rings, now "solved" with fluid dynamics equations! Frodo's journey could've been a quick eagle Uber to Mount Doom, but apparently Tolkien needed 1,200 pages instead. The equations are basically saying "the concentration of eagles approaching Mordor equals zero" - mathematically proving why those feathered taxis never showed up. Fantasy writers creating elaborate worlds only to leave gaping logical flaws that any first-year physics student could point out. Next time you're in a 3-hour fantasy movie, just remember there's probably a simple solution being ignored for "dramatic purposes."

The Tiny Flaw In Ant-Man's Science

The Tiny Flaw In Ant-Man's Science
Someone just broke the entire Marvel universe with basic chemistry! Oxygen molecules (Oโ‚‚) are what we breathe, but individual oxygen atoms are much smaller! The diameter of an oxygen atom is about 0.14 nanometers, while Ant-Man supposedly shrinks to subatomic size (smaller than atoms). If he's smaller than oxygen atoms, he couldn't possibly interact with oxygen molecules to breathe! This is the perfect "wait a minute..." moment that science nerds live for. Next time you're watching Ant-Man, you can be that person who ruins the movie with science facts! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Though honestly, the Pym Particle explanation probably covers this somehow... superhero physics always finds a way!
