One's grading papers with stickers and encouraging comments, the other's returning exams with red ink and a note saying "see me after class" which is academic code for "I'm disappointed you haven't discovered a new element yet." The duality of campus life where one department hosts wine and cheese socials while the other accidentally creates a new strain of bacteria that eats plastic and possibly graduate students.
