Artemis 2 Meme

This is what happens when physics nerds take Archimedes too literally! The meme combines Archimedes' famous quote about moving the Earth with a lever with actual gravitational physics. The diagram shows the Earth-Moon barycenter (the center of mass of the Earth-Moon system) which could theoretically serve as a fulcrum for an impossibly long lever. The formula in the title (F=G•M₁•M₂•R⁻²) is Newton's law of universal gravitation, which explains why this cosmic lever system would be governed by the gravitational attraction between the masses. Technically correct? Yes. Practically feasible? Not unless you're planning to violate several laws of physics before breakfast!

The eternal struggle of science nerds everywhere! Guy claims he's "interested in astronomy" while clearly checking out Kurzgesagt videos instead of his actual physics homework. Meanwhile, the fundamentals of reality (physics) are right there giving him the death stare. This is basically every undergrad who'd rather watch cool videos about black holes and exoplanets than solve those pesky differential equations. The audacity to claim you love stars when you're just avoiding calculating their gravitational fields!

The universe is literally screaming at us in gamma rays, X-rays, infrared, radio waves, and a whole electromagnetic circus we can't even see - but humans insist on only believing the tiny sliver of visible light our pathetic eyeballs evolved to detect. It's like refusing to believe in elephants because you can only see their toenails. Next time someone demands visible proof of something, just point to this spectrum chart and whisper "The universe is laughing at your 400-700 nanometer worldview, Karen."

Just your average comparison of two incomprehensibly large things. The Milky Way contains 100-400 billion stars, while Graham's Number is so absurdly massive that if you tried to write it down, the digits would collapse into a black hole. Makes your student loan debt seem downright manageable. The universe is literally too small to express how broke you'd be with Graham's Number of dollars. Even Jeff Bezos would be like, "I'm gonna need more planets."

First-year physics: "All objects fall at the same rate regardless of mass." Advanced physics: "Well, actually..." This graph brilliantly shows what happens when your ball gets so massive it breaks physics 101. At normal masses, sure, Galileo's right. But increase that mass to lunar levels and suddenly Earth is accelerating toward your "falling" ball too. Keep going to near-collapse mass and congratulations—you've created a black hole with time dilation effects that would make your physics professor weep. The real punchline? At 11.3 Earth masses, you don't need to worry about fall time because you've basically created a catastrophic gravitational event. Typical lab safety oversight.

The duality of humanity when faced with potential extinction! While normal folks panic about a "droplet-shaped object" hurtling toward Earth, physics enthusiasts are gleefully calculating orbital mechanics. The three-body problem is notoriously unsolvable in closed form—it's literally chaos theory in action! The title brilliantly references "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" where dolphins (the second most intelligent species on Earth) leave before our planet's destruction with that exact farewell. Calculating celestial trajectories vs. running for your life? The physics nerds choose math every time. They're not scared—they're intellectually stimulated .
