The quadratic formula's discriminant (b² - 4ac) determines whether a quadratic equation has real solutions. If it's positive or zero, you get real solutions; if negative, you get imaginary ones. This genius is basically saying they wish they had a mathematical formula to determine if people are genuine or just imaginary problems in their life! Would save us all so much time filtering out the fake friends and dates who exist only to complicate our equations.
