Turns out atoms are mostly empty space with a tiny nucleus playing hard to get. Physics was just Tinder for particles before Tinder existed.

But SpongeBob? He's over here doing the "gold foil experiment" instead—you know, the one where Rutherford discovered the atomic nucleus by shooting alpha particles at gold foil.
