Chemistry pickup lines just hit different! This meme is playing on the double meaning of "stationary phase" in chromatography and "she" interacting with it until "I elute" (come out of the column). It's basically chemistry's version of "she's into me until I leave" but with lab equipment! The beautiful gradient in that column is what happens during separation techniques when compounds move through at different rates.
