Only quantum physicists would turn chess into a Hamiltonian nightmare! The white pawn is "applying H to |0⟩ state" (that's the Hadamard gate transforming a basic quantum state into a superposition), while the rook is busy with "T₂ dephasing" (destroying quantum coherence like it destroys opponent pieces). Meanwhile, the king has achieved the coveted |+⟩ state - existing in multiple squares simultaneously until someone observes it and collapses its wavefunction. Checkmate?
