The ultimate kidney standoff! These two bean-shaped organs are having the most passive-aggressive conversation in medical history. In chronic kidney disease (CKD), one kidney might need to be sacrificed to save the patient, but clearly neither of these nephrons wants to be the hero. It's like watching two people fight over who gets to pay the bill, except the bill is their existence. The irony of calling organ donation "selfless" when you're literally giving away your self is peak medical humor. These kidneys filter waste but can't filter their own trust issues!
