Poor Physics, just trying to stay afloat while CS, AI, and Data Science get all the attention and funding. Meanwhile, Mathematics is sitting at the bottom of the academic ocean like some forgotten deity, silently supporting the entire scientific enterprise while everyone else gets the glory. Without Math, the rest would be flailing in the shallow end asking "how do I computer?" Yet here we are in 2025, throwing money at anything with "machine learning" in the title while the fundamental sciences drown.
