Nature really said "pick your stats" and these marine creatures went full RPG character creation. The octopus is basically the genius trapped in a squishy body—three hearts, blue blood, and can solve puzzles better than your average undergrad, but gets bodied by literally anything with teeth. Meanwhile, the orca is out here being an apex predator with complex social structures and hunting strategies that would make a military tactician weep. They're smart AND terrifying.

Then you've got krill down in the corner—tiny shrimp that are basically ocean popcorn for whales. Zero thoughts, head empty, just vibing in massive swarms. And jellyfish? No brain, no bones, just pure chaos energy drifting through the ocean stinging things. They've existed for 500 million years without a single thought, which honestly might be the ultimate evolutionary flex.

The real kicker is that jellyfish are 95% water and have survived multiple mass extinctions by simply... existing. Sometimes intelligence is overrated when you can just be a gelatinous blob of spite.
