BEHOLD! The astronomical battle of the century! We've got three competing definitions of "middle" planet duking it out on the cosmic bell curve of intelligence! On the left, our simple friend thinks Mercury is the middle planet because... well, he probably just likes the word "Mercury." In the center, our panicking intellectual correctly points out that Jupiter and Mars occupy positions 4 and 5 in our 8-planet system. And on the right, our smug galaxy-brain thinks Mercury is middle because... reasons? It's the perfect representation of how people with identical wrong answers can still feel intellectually superior to those with the correct information! *maniacal laughter* Science education has failed spectacularly!

The ultimate physics paradox that breaks cartoon brains! According to Einstein's theory of general relativity, light has no mass but still follows curved spacetime around massive objects. It's not gravity directly pulling on light (since you need mass for that), but rather light traveling along the geodesics of spacetime that's been warped by massive objects. The meme perfectly captures that moment when basic physics knowledge collides with advanced concepts—like trying to explain why your GPS needs relativistic corrections while your friend is still struggling with "F=ma." The Pokémon characters' exaggerated reaction is basically every physics student after their first encounter with general relativity!

Louis XIV, famously declaring "L'État, c'est moi" (I am the state), would've absolutely misinterpreted Copernicus's heliocentric model as a personal power move. Imagine the scientific revolution hitting Versailles and this guy thinking, "Yes, everything revolves around the sun... which is clearly ME." The ultimate cosmic narcissism. Galileo got house arrest while Louis got a palace—clearly one understood astronomy better than the other.

The sheer cosmic disappointment radiating from this man's face perfectly captures how astronomy enthusiasts feel about missed puns. "AstronoMemes" is literally sitting there like an undiscovered exoplanet waiting to be named! It's the word-play equivalent of missing Halley's Comet because you were looking at your phone. The moderators had ONE JOB - to name a space-themed subreddit with an obvious pun - and somehow managed to create a nomenclature black hole. Even Neil deGrasse Tyson would be making this exact face right now.

The epic struggle between astronomers and hotel IT departments continues! Both have mastered the art of creating strings of characters that no human should ever have to type. While you're desperately trying to connect to "HiltonGuest_5GHz" with password "p8X$7vB!2zQ&", some astronomer is casually referring to a celestial object as "SDSS J114833.14+193003.2" during a conference presentation. The difference? One gives you terrible internet, the other is a magnificent cosmic entity that could swallow our entire solar system. Choose your incomprehensible string wisely.

Little dino dreams of stargazing but gets thrown into the deep end of theoretical physics! Poor guy thought astronomy was just pretty stars and planets, but now he's drowning in quantum mechanics and differential equations. The sudden realization that modern astronomy requires mastering six different branches of advanced physics is the scientific equivalent of ordering a vanilla ice cream and getting a calculus exam instead. The dinosaur's wide-eyed shock in that final panel is every freshman who switched majors after their first astrophysics lecture!
