Systems-theory Memes

Someone out here really turned thesis defense anxiety into horror movie graffiti, and honestly? Respect. The dripping red letters give serious "academic nightmare" vibes—which is exactly what defending your thesis feels like for most grad students. The title drops a delicious double entendre: in relationships, you give more than you receive (sad face), but in systems theory, positive feedback amplifies outputs and destabilizes systems—the exact opposite of the stabilizing negative feedback loops. So basically, this person is saying they're out here causing chaos and runaway effects instead of getting constructive criticism back. Your thesis committee when they see this energy: 📉 Fun fact: The average PhD student spends 4-7 years working toward their defense, only to have a panel of professors grill them for 2-3 hours about every tiny detail. No wonder someone's writing ominous messages on walls about it.
