Someone turned a serious molecular biology lecture on protein translation into pure comedy gold by adding a hula-dancing blob and Easter Island head (moai) to the slide! The diagram shows eIF2 protein complexes involved in translation initiation—the critical process where ribosomes start making proteins from mRNA.
