You know your cooling system has failed spectacularly when your GPU is achieving temperatures previously only found in the Earth's mantle. That motherboard is experiencing rapid oxidation at about 1000°C, complete with active flames consuming the RAM slots, and tech support is out here like "did you try turning it off and on again?" This is the universal tech support flowchart: Step 1 - Restart. Step 2 - There is no Step 2. Your computer could be undergoing nuclear fission and they'd still suggest a reboot before escalating the ticket. To be fair, turning it off would technically solve the fire problem, but I'm not sure "turning it back on" is advisable when your PCIe slots have melted into modern art. Fun fact: Computer fires usually start from power supply failures, overclocked components running without adequate cooling, or that one capacitor that's been planning its explosive retirement for months.
