Someone really put engineering students behind glass like they're endangered species at a zoo. The sign warns visitors not to tap on the glass because "the species exhibited in this enclosure are easily startled"—which is hilariously accurate given that engineering students survive on caffeine, stress, and the perpetual fear of their next exam. But here's where it gets brutal: the "Fun Fact" reveals the doors aren't locked from the inside because the inhabitants have never tried to leave. They're locked from the outside to prevent disturbance of the exhibit. Translation: engineering students are so deep in problem sets, CAD models, and thermodynamics homework that they've forgotten escape is even an option. They've been institutionalized by their own curriculum. The poor guy standing there looking dead inside really sells it. He knows he's part of the exhibit now. Stockholm syndrome has fully set in.
