Watson and Crick famously got credit for discovering DNA's double helix structure in 1953, but it was Rosalind Franklin's X-ray crystallography images that provided the crucial evidence. Her "Photo 51" was shown to Watson without her knowledge, and she died of cancer before Nobel Prizes were awarded. Nothing says "scientific justice" like shouting historical corrections during lectures and watching professors squirm.
